Emergency Child Care for School Aged Children
With direction from the Ministry of Education, the District of Muskoka is collaborating with stakeholders to facilitate access to targeted Emergency Child Care that will support eligible parents of school-aged children, at no cost to eligible parents until January 22, 2021.
Emergency child care services are reserved exclusively for school-age children of eligible workers who have no other alternatives.

Determining Priority Access for Emergency Child Care:
Due to limited spaces, the District will review and approve eligible families on a first come, first serve basis. Applications are date and time stamped upon submission.
BEFORE YOU START - What You Need to Apply:
To complete this online application, you will need the following available to upload:
- Proof of Muskoka Address (e.g., tax bill, mortgage statement, rent receipt, piece of mail)
- Proof of employment as an essential worker (e.g., pay stub, ID badge, letter from employer)
- Proof of second parents employment outside the home
- Custody documentation, if applicable.
